Sarah Murphy, MSW, RSW
Internal Family Systems Therapist
Hi, I’m Sarah (she/her/hers). I’m a therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting people through life’s most challenging seasons. I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Carleton University and I am a Registered Social Worker.
My work is grounded in the belief that we all have an innate capacity for healing. You can count on me to walk alongside you with warmth, curiosity, and respect.
I am originally from Newfoundland (though you won’t detect an accent!) and I’ve lived in Whitehorse for 9 years with my partner, our son, and our two dogs Kepler and Henry. When I’m not in session, you’ll often find me playing music, enjoying the outdoors, or spending time with my family.
If you’re looking for a supportive space to explore what’s going on inside and begin moving toward healing, I’d be honoured to connect.
About Me:
About Atlas
My practice is named for my dog Atlas, who passed away unexpectedly on April 19th, 2025. He was the most wonderful boy and I miss him dearly. Naming my clinic after him is one of the many ways I’ve chosen to honour him and keep his spirit alive.

Meet Henry and Kepler aka the office Labs
You’ve probably noticed - I love dogs! I strongly believe in the healing power of their presence and energy. When you visit, you will likely be greeted by one of my dogs. If this is a concern for you and/or you have allergies, let me know so I can accommodate you! Here is a little bio about them so you can get to know them better before your visit.
Kepler
A certified sweetie, Kepler is a quiet older gentleman. He is a Chocolate Labrador Retriever. He is only 7.5 years old, but he’s always been old at heart (unless you turn on the garden hose!). He is a gentle, calm boy who loves treats and scratches. Surprisingly reserved for a lab, he may spend the entire session sitting beside you (if you wish) or sleeping in his bed. Difficult to predict, but his warm heart adds lovely energy to my space either way!
Kepler loves to work and is surprisingly decorated with both trick and rally obedience titles, as well as Canine Good Neighbour. He’s a good boy.
Henry
My darling Henry. He is a puppy and therefore a wild boy at this point in his life. Henry is also a Labrador Retriever, of the Fox Red variety. I don’t bring him to the office as often (at least until he matures a bit) but if he’s there, expect some eventfulness. He’s a vocal boy, and barks, growls and whines to show his excitement. And boy, is he an excited fellow.
Henry is actually Atlas’ little brother, and we were fortunate to be able to welcome him into our family shortly after Atlas left us. He tends to lay on my feet during sessions, after greeting clients loudly and exuberantly of course.
Henry also loves to work and is well on his way to titles of his own, just like his big brothers Kepler and Atlas.
